US-China Trade Organization, is a private,
independent, member-supported organization that actively promotes understanding
of China and the United States between citizens of both countries through a variety
of innovative education cultural and exchange programs. The Organization is supported
by a broad coalition of scholars, business leaders, professionals, public servants
and private citizens from both sides of the Pacific. Its primary mission is to
facilitate international cooperation on trade and investment and to advance human
achievement amongst individuals, between governments and across public and private
sectors, and to become a fertile ground where western and eastern philosophy,
culture and wisdom would blend beautifully and imaginatively.
USCTO focuses its education development programs on international relations, economic
development, leadership training, WTO compliance issues in connection with trade
and investment, and student exchange and joint degree programs between China and
the United States. With extensive corporate and government relationships and strong
expertise on customized educational training and development, USCTO is uniquely
positioned to provide extensive, tailored, and timely advice and services on a
wide range of interests and concerns to its members. The Organization draws upon
the collective resources and experiences of its distinguished advisors, board
of directors, and corporate and individual members to the value creation process
of its programs and services.
The work of USCTO is made possible by the generous contributions from its members,
corporate sponsors, private foundations, and other interested citizens. The Organization
is governed by a Board of Directors and is managed by an Executive Committee,
which supervises the design and implementation of USCTO’s programs and services. |
